Elite – National – Travel Team Program
Our Elite National Travel Teams are taught at the collegiate level of training. These teams are the stepping stones to our Elite Open Teams. These Elite National Teams will receive high level, intense training designed and sometimes assisted by our master coaching staff. The Axis Elite National Team training that these teams receive is the same as our Elite Open teams no matter whether they are 12 or 18. It is fast-paced, intense and challenging. It is designed for players who may want to play in college.
Our Elite National Teams start training in late October or early November based on the age of the team and finish their season in mid to late June at the AAU National Volleyball Championships in Orlando, Florida. The primary difference between our National Team program and the Open Team program is that the Open Team tournament schedule is a little more extensive and will have more practices. Both have different packages associated with the teams.
Along with 2 to 3 practices a week depending on the tournament schedule, National Team members will also have the option to add speed, agility, & strength training sessions as an additional training option.
The National Teams in this program will attend 6 to 9 tournaments (13U-18U) through the course of the season. The 12U program will attend 4 to 7 tournaments. This level of commitment primarily requires travel throughout the Southeast but occasionally it will be farther depending on tournament location.
This program will only be available in the 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, & 18U age groups.
Our Academy Training Programs are designed for the player that wants to make & play for their middle, junior varsity, or high school teams. These players may be multi-sport players or not sure the wants to play in college, or just stop playing after high school. These Academy training programs allow players to be exposed to some of the same award winning championship training techniques & development programs as our top travel teams. However this program has a reduced tournament & practice schedule. Some of our top program training items (speed & agility, ect.) are optional but are available as an “add on options to your Academy training program. Allowing each player to customize their Academy training program!
